The Community Center Board is looking for us to use the majority of this money on pool improvements which benefit the swim team. The first project would be lane lines. They are close to 20 years old and will soon need to be replaced.
Again this event is open to all members of the Harleysville Pool and all the proceeds will go to the swim team. If you have any questions, see a board member at the pool or you may contact them via e-mail.
Practice starts October 6th with meets starting in early Nov. thru Dec. The season wraps up with conference finals, league finals and championships in Jan. & Feb.BEST YET...Tracey Hemmerle is the NEW HEAD COACH!!! Tracey's Mom, our beloved Coach Judy,
& her husband Jamie are joining on as assistant coaches!!!

Evening practices will be offered 3 days a week this year to accommodate families with morning scheduling conflicts. The practices will run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30. The first evening practice will be June 18th 2008. These pratcices will be open ONLY to swimmers who have morning scheduling conflicts and/or by approval by a coach.Each year the team selects a uniform suit that all swimmers are encouraged, but not required to wear. This year Harleysville chose TORCH. The TORCH is fully lined and made of 80% Nylon and 20% Lycra.
